Advance Filter Media or fabric is used for all sorts of filtration – air, liquid and gas. This is available in various sizes, micron ratings and materials. We can produce advanced filtration fabrics in Woven and Non-Woven media or felt that meets the performance requirements of application according to the parameters i.e. flow rate, impurity, chemical resistance, solids release and efficiency.
Woven or knit Filter Media is two dimensional in which spun, monofilament & multifilament yarns overlap one another. It is used for filtration of liquids, Solid Separation and powder material which are used for Filter presses, centrifuge machines, Drum Filters, Neutche Filters & many other equipments and devices. These fabrics are constructed with variety of weaves such as plain, twill, satin, chain, matte, oxford etc. with characteristics such as water repellent fabric, Antistatic fabric, fire retardant calendered fabrics.
Non-Woven Media is fabric material bonded together by entangling fiber or filaments mechanically, thermally or chemically. These filter fabrics or mats are made of high-performance break resistant materials, progressive in structure with layers being arranged behind each other so as to ensure that the density of the fiber layers increases towards the clean air side from coarse to fine. This optimizes the defined filter performance and the dust holding capacity resulting in longer useful lifetime for the filter concerned. These medias satisfy stringent requirements of Fire Class F1 according to DIN 53438 and are thus self-extinguishing and are tested according to EN779 and ISO 16890. Polyester Filter Media: - These fabrics are used for Air, Liquid and Gas Applications and are extremenly strong, very durable, resistance to most chemicals and excellent resistance to elevated temperature upto 150 Deg. C. It is hydrophobic in nature and quick drying and are available upto 700 GSM, fine rating upto 1 micron.
Polypropylene Filter Media: - These fabrics are also used for Air, Liquid & Gas. It is having a very high resistance to chemicals and cater to temperature upto 100 Deg. C. It is white and mechanically rugged. It is available in 750 GSM and upto 1 micron.
PTFE Filter Media: - It is a synthetic Polymer usedin Air, Gas &Liquid. It is hydrophobic (water cannot pass through this fabric), having high density and resistance to high temperature. Although versatile material with a wide variety of application but best known for non-stick properties used in Paint Booth, Milk Plants, Sand Blasting.Available upto 700 GSM, 260 Deg. C Temperature and 0.5 micron.
Hepa Filter Paper: - Glass Fibers are completely in combustible inorganic fibers. These have high thermal endurance shock, excellent moisture resistance and worksupto 300 Deg. C. They do not stretch or shrink and also resist mildew, deterioration and decay. Available upto 0.01 micron used in HVAC Filters- Hepa Filters, Paint Booth, Compressed Air System, Gas Line and other high temperature Filtration applications.
Filter Paper: - Filter Paper is a semi Permeable paper barrier placed perpendicular to a liquid or air flow. It is used to separate fine substances from liquids or air. This media is also available with different finishing treatment like oil and water repellant media, antistatic media, silicon treated media. It is also used for coolant Filtration metal working industries, Viscous Filter Paper, Sparkler Filter Paperand coolant Filtration upto 10 Micron & 30 to 150 GSM.
