Demisters are employed for effectual entertainment of liquids or mist removal in any liquid or gas. Our mesh demisters consist of a pad of knitted metal or plastic wire mesh usually sandwiched between grids for mechanical support. Working Principle: - Gas or vapor carries liquid in small droplet form. When the Gas / vapor passes through the demister pad, the fine liquid droplets collide with the filaments of demister pad. Small droplets adhere to the filament. The gas being lighter is usually routed to exit from top of the separator vessel & the liquids from the bottom. The Demister Pad is also effective in gas liquid separation.
